Συναγερμός σήμανε στις αστυνομικές αρχές στο Έσσεξ της Βρετανίας, αφού μαχαιρώθηκε βουλευτής του Συντηρητικού Κόμματος έξω από εκκλησία μεθοδιστών.
Πρόκειται για τον βουλευτή σερ Ντέιβιντ Αμές (David Amess), ο οποίος είχε ταχθεί υπέρ της εξόδου του Ηνωμένου Βασιλείου από την Ευρωπαϊκή Ένωση (Brexit).
